This is where you come in, to join our team as a Sales Operations Analyst based in London.
Our Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for a wide variety of exciting tasks across the sales operations landscape. This will be a crucial role through a period of accelerated company growth, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful work across different areas of sales and operations including market research, lead generation, sales reporting, data analysis, and More!

Objective
To play a pivotal role in providing data-driven insights, managing lead generation activities, and ensuring sales processes are running effectively and efficiently. This role is instrumental in helping the company achieves its targets through streamlining sales processes, ensuring data integrity, creating accurate and timely reporting, and providing operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Data Research and Lead Generation
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor analysis, capturing relevant data and key metrics.
- Utilise various platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Salesforce, external databases) to generate qualified leads and target potential clients.
- Track and update the progress of leads within the sales pipeline, ensuring continuous engagement and timely follow-up.
Sales Reporting and Dashboard Management
- Develop and maintain sales dashboards to visualise key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data for the sales team.
- Provide timely sales reports on monthly/quarterly sales metrics and pipeline health, reviewing progress towards goals and identifying areas that need attention.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights to support the sales strategy.
- Maintain CRM data to ensure accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
Financial Reviews
- Gather forecast data, track pipeline stages, and create accurate sales forecasts.
- Ensure timely receipt of timesheets from consultants and update relevant tracker with timesheet data
- Carry out and maintain variance analysis between actual vs. forecast performance and actual spend vs. budget.
Contract and Documentation Support
- Coordinate the setup of new Statements of Work and users in clients’ vendor management systems.
- Manage Statement of Work (SoW) creation and processing.
- Assist with RFP (Request for Proposal) coordination by gathering and organising data such as rate cards, filling in spreadsheets, and responding to information requests.
Administrative and Operational Support
- Attend sales meetings, take comprehensive notes, and distribute them to relevant stakeholders, ensuring key action items are tracked and completed.
- Arrange monthly account meetings and provide administrative support for client interactions.
- Maintain and update process flows and other documentation related to sales processes, best practices, and operational guidelines.
- Provide ongoing operational support to the sales and operations team by improving processes, managing tools and spreadsheets, and ensuring smooth workflows.
- Prepare contractor payment runs in collaboration with the finance team.
Ad Hoc
- Providing ad hoc support to senior management team and other team members as required
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (2.1 or equivalent).
- Professional Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, data analysis, or a similar role, preferably in technology consulting or financial services.
- Data Analysis Skills: Strong analytical skills with experience in data manipulation, financial reviews, sales forecasting, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and CRM systems (ideally Salesforce).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to demonstrate thoroughness, accuracy and consistency when completing tasks and dealing with numbers
- Organisational Skills: Ability to effectively multitask and work at pace to deliver high-quality deliverables.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating clear and concise messages to stakeholders at all levels.
